…. Council Chairman to deliver on more massive infrastructural development projects.
As a result of the need to further ensure continuous sustainable development in Ikeja, the Executive Chairman of Ikeja LG, Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun embarks of some infrastructural development projects.
One of these projects is the completion of a new vocational centre erected within the council secretariat behind Works and Infrastructure department. The newly constructed vocational centre is billed to further enhance skills and vocational acquisition programmes among youths, and women in Ikeja local government area.
Another is the ongoing construction of the council’s health department extension which is 90% completed. This was necessitated due to the need to expand and further develop Ikeja LG Health unit. It is believed that the new health unit extension will further enhance improved provision of primary health services to the people of Ikeja communities.
It is believed that the Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun led administration in Ikeja LG is ever-ready to embark on other massive infrastructural development projects before the end of year 2022.
Efforts are also in top gear to commence the construction of a new massive physical edifice within the council secretariat. This is in a bid to give the local council secretariat a new face-lift in order to meet up with the contemporary demands of local government governance driven by technology and digital innovations
